BELLA'S HAPPY STORY

You remember Bella Dobberman, found by Maura and her family of 4 children. Bella was a walking skelleton and with a horrible skin condition. Maura rescued Bella but in her home there was an old Dobberman Millie that thought Bella was a little bit too much to handle. Bella was also talking "Dobberman language" that many of us do not realize is like people from different contries or regions, we are all humans but we have different languages, and sometimes misunderstandings can occure. But Maura didn't give up, she had Bella for eight months and AWL was contacted.We loved Maura and Bella and wanted to do what we could do. First we sponsored with the steralization and then we contacted Martina from Voci nell Ombria who put us in contact with Maria Pia and then Dobermans Angels with warmhearted Nicoletta. Who told us about how their organization works, we were so impressed.



Last week I recieved these wonderful pictures from Elah's forever, loving home. I love how they have doghouses inside their home. What great looking decoration too!

Elah got a new furry friend too.

And a loving mother!

And a little boy to watch after.

What an Amore family! and thank you everyone for the great team work that made this a reality. That's Amore.

REACUE MISSION BELLA

On earlier blogs have we been writing about Doberman Bella that Maura found in terrible condition --- skin and bones, and also with red mange. Maura's own Doberman didn't accept Bella so they had to live separated, and Bella didn't understand children and could nibble them. Maura with four children, that last part became a big problem. But I admire Maura, she kept Bella, gave her food, love and a lot of treatments for her skin condition. AWL paid for the sterilization.

We also started to look after adoption options, but it was difficult since Dobermans also can be a misunderstood breed. None of us wanted her to become a guard dog in a factory area. An Italian volunteer shared a contact with the "Dobermann's Angels" up in Parma. Bella got an invitation! We were all so thrilled!

The whole family drove the 9 hours up with Bella and met the rescue group in a wonderful, beautiful kennel. Nicolette, a warm and brilliant person greeted us and thought Bella was a great dog, and super specimen of the breed. We all had a wonderful time at the place, Olivia and Max were playing with cute puppies and rolling in grass. I could stay there forever!

BELLA THE BEAUTIFUL IS READY

Bella Doberman is up for adoption. The wonderful family found her on the street last summer, skin and bones and with a terrible skin condition. Even though they have an old lady Doberman at home who doesn't like other Dobermans they didn't hesitate to rescue her.

Bella is over one year old a fast learner, but still very young in her mind. Her body coat is healed beautiful and she gained weight, we picked her up today after being sterilized. She was out for a walk today with another Bella on the picture and she was very good.

She behaved very well at the clinic, and Dr Gigi calm and nice did a good job. Bella got a nice bikini scar! Maura the mom in the family is having a hard time letting Bella go and want to stay in touch with the new adopting person (and also help out if needed)

Bella is having a problem being around young children, she doesn't understand their energies. But there is so much love in this dog, great in car, knows to sit and wait.....she is waiting for you.

She has to be an inside and outdoor dog....a family dog with rules and love. In that order.

A BUSY DAY

Marua rescued a starving doberman with terrible skin mange last year in June. Ever since she has educated, running to the vet, medicated and done everything. Bella is today getting serialized. Bella is up for adoption, but Maura promised her when she found her to make her strong and beautiful before getting her a good family. I admire Maura for keeping her word. Maura also helped me with the wonderful puppies Rose and Cody. They were adopted 2 months ago by Erica and her family. And we promised her too that they would be serialized and castrated.

They were of course charming us all. You could notice that they came from a good family.

In the car, Cody sang but Rose was quiet. But we didn't mind. At the vet with Dr. Gigi they were so good.

Even better behaving than me when I am visiting my doc.
