HEAVEN HAVE CALLED HOME ONE OF HIS ANGELS

 Our great animal friend Craig Kleber from Brentwood, LA, USA --I would like to call him our AWL Ambassador (or Saint), is one of a kind. He is following our cases with a big heart and passion. He is an amazing true animal friend. However, his love and care for animals doesn't only go one direction.

Yesterday, AWL received this email and a donation check, 1000 dollar, in Cachito's memory from Craig.

We (AWL) also want to send our respect and love to the Camacho family.

RIP Cachito

In the name of 'Cachito' (his guardians were the Camacho family) - a rescued dog who was loved by all who knew him. Cachito crossed the Rainbow Bridge last night after fighting illness, but he was surrounded by love and care so his journey started happily. He lived a long life on this earth and now will live forever with his doggie friends. I gave him some special treats and vitamins a few months ago and he wrote me a nice note on Saturday night that I want to share.

"Hi Mr. Craig, my name is Cachito. I am not feeling well. My sister Araceli and my mom have taken good care of me all of these years and I so thank them for all that and the happiness they have given me! I think my stay here will not be for long."

TRUE HEARTS THROUGH GENERATIONS

There are people with big heart(s). In the middle of their own stressful days takes a moment to think of the poor dogs destiny in Italy. The money are being earmarked for the Church dogs.

KINOS NEW HOME in GERMANY

 We are so happy that Kino the Husky is now in his new home together with his American family here in Germany. WE wish him all our best together with mom, dad and cat.

 We were worried that Kino would chase the cat but it showed us how wrong we humans can be in our "narrow mind thinking".
The cat chased Kino who was terrified. Sorry Kino we cannot help laughing.

ROSIE YOU TOUCHED SO MANY HEARTS RIP

We have followed this beautiful girl and her rescue mom back in the States for quiet some time. We have laughed and shared about her beautiful fight, but now we cry.
You touched so many hearts and forgave even more hearts. Thank you Rosie for teaching many people what true love is, and forgiveness. That's Amore! RIP

UPDATE on ROSIE, born in the worst of puppy mills in USA Feb, 2010, and rescued in June, 2012, the little tenacious survivor enjoyed a REAL life of love for just a bit over a year. Last night, she left us...
From Everything Rosie:

"Rosie developed pneumonia and because of her abnormal trachea, it progressed so quickly that I lost her at 9:28 pm tonight. She was in my arms and I was holding her tightly willing her to stay. I am devastated and destroyed. My whole world was that little girl and I don't know how to carry on even though I have to for the sake of the other dogs in my home. I am going to have her cremated tomorrow. Eddie is in India and is devastated as well. I am not announcing this right now. I don't even want to live without her let alone try to explain that to anyone else. I am lost without my girl."

"Mr. Poe I never got to meet you in person, but I knew you well from all the stories and pictures Mia sent telling us all of your unique character. 

I felt you were a kindred spirit as I too am very grumpy and not always friendly. I loved you a lot and I did what I could to help you get better and find a forever home, which when you did I was overjoyed for you. Today, 6,000 miles away, when I read the news of your leaving us for your eternal life I cried because I lost a friend.

 I will miss you. But heaven will have its hands full with your charismatic little character. Things won't be the same here or there, you are that special. God bless you Poe
