TRIXI LOVE A NEW START

Our AWL Trixi had to see our wonderful and great veterinarian Martina, due to her skin problem (body and ears) Tests were taken and antibiotic injection was given to her. Claws had to be cute, they were way to long for her.
She is adorable and kind. Trixi 7 years old had one family that didn't bring her with them to their home-country when moving back. She was left in a foster home for one year. I was being told no one wanted to adopt Trixi since they thought she was to old ?!?!
Our youngest volunteer Olivia helped us bringing Trixi to the veterinarian.
After the injection (antibiotic) we are treating her with these products. Since we are a non profit organization we gratefully ask you for help. All money goes to the animals care and treatments.

BTW, a wonderful Swedish family have adopted her and as soon as she is 100% she will be in their arms (and bed)

That's Amore!

MIELE IS THE WONDERDOG THAT TEACHES US HOPE

The bandage was changed again this late afternoon. The "wound" cleaned, aired, and disinfected with new products. We bought a betadine creme (11.80 euro) to put on the wound.
Miele got a new type of bandage raping (cue) on half her leg so when she walk she doesn't touch the dirt with the bandage.
Now she looks like Pistorius
Blood test, Emocromo, QPE, Biochimico and Erlichia. The Emocromo result is compared with the first one and nothing has changed (yet) The value DR V thinks means she got Erlichia. We bought Vibravet (antibiotic)
Tomorrow we will get more results from the blood tests.
So right now 2 different antibiotic.

Also she didn't gain any weight (yet)
Hopefully surgery next week if the two antibiotic kicks in and drives out the infection, and new blood tests will show ok.
Prayers still please for our brave Miele
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND HEALING AND LOVE

MIELE THE WONDER AMAZING DOG

Waiting in Dr Vittorio waiting room. Only 24 hours after she was found, she walks in a harness. What amazing healing spirit.
NO FEVER!!! Changed the bandage and medicated the "wounds" It was so infected. She got ultrasound to her uterus but everything looked fine. YEAH!
She got skin test it looks like she got fungus so she need cloroexidem (sp?) 4% over her body. We got a new antibiotic. --

We don't know yet if her broken leg need surgery, its early to say.
Amputation, yes for her "half"leg .
Surgery will be schedule as soon we get the blood results and prognoses.
