Martina found Gaby very sick out in the rain. Gaby was trying to reach out to people but they ignored her. When one man hit Gaby with his bag, Martina yelled to Pio; "stop the car!" She open the door and whistled. Gaby jumped in. I got a text message with a picture of the most horrible looking dog but her spirit so beautiful. Martina asked if we could bring her to the AWL Hospice.
Of course!
Weeks and months with treatments and Gaby's tail constantly wagged. She had so must trust in us.
ElseMarie from Sweden contacted me, and wanted to adopt a dog. By that time Gaby was in my home.
I showed the picture of Else to Gaby and asked if she wanted to live with her. Gaby sniffed and her tail wagged again. Gaby's dream was to make people happy. Gaby adopted Else and went to Sweden, and her dream came true. Sheheal hearts wherever she goes.
Else adores her Gaby so much that she wanted to return something to Martina and Pio. A fantastic portrait was being made by the artist Christina Alvner and sent own to them. What a beautiful gesture. One rescue dog is tying so many new hearts together. We humans are the lucky ones
