Animals Without Limits is an international, non-profit foundation dedicated to assisting animals in crisis situations.
It is 100% volunteer operated by a pool of dedicated, caring people around the world.
Our AWL Trixi had to see our wonderful and great veterinarian Martina, due to her skin problem (body and ears) Tests were taken and antibiotic injection was given to her. Claws had to be cute, they were way to long for her.
She is adorable and kind. Trixi 7 years old had one family that didn't bring her with them to their home-country when moving back. She was left in a foster home for one year. I was being told no one wanted to adopt Trixi since they thought she was to old ?!?!
Our youngest volunteer Olivia helped us bringing Trixi to the veterinarian.
After the injection (antibiotic) we are treating her with these products. Since we are a non profit organization we gratefully ask you for help. All money goes to the animals care and treatments.
BTW, a wonderful Swedish family have adopted her and as soon as she is 100% she will be in their arms (and bed)
Remember in earlier blog we wrote about Miele. Our miracle dog that has inspired many people not to give up.
GUESS WHAT??? I got a family Yes its true!
I am forever thankful to all of youl. You invested time, love and donations in me. You believed in me and life. YOU didn't turn away from me when I needed you the most. I am humble.
My foster family, took me in without a hesitation, even if they have plenty of dogs already, and working full time. They coached me, they believed in me. They knew.
Dr Vittorio, he never stopped believing in my healing process, he took in specialists, and what is most loving....he gave good discounts
And now, I get to go to my own forever home. AWL know them since before and Mia have slept there many times, so she know that the food is great and bed comfortable and loving people and animals.
My foster family Pio and Martina know them very well too and want to drive me up. We which are working with rescuing know that we always are lacking money. AWL would like to sponsor my trip with 200 euro. (gas and road tolls) I'm going up North in Italy--pictures will be posted
When rescuing animals your focus is always on the animal. Not what you can gain on being the person bringing in a life to save. Hard work, many hours, tears and sweat. Many ignorant people....but there are so many beautiful people out there too.
Martina found Gaby very sick out in the rain. Gaby was trying to reach out to people but they ignored her. When one man hit Gaby with his bag, Martina yelled to Pio; "stop the car!" She open the door and whistled. Gaby jumped in. I got a text message with a picture of the most horrible looking dog but her spirit so beautiful. Martina asked if we could bring her to the AWL Hospice. Of course! Weeks and months with treatments and Gaby's tail constantly wagged. She had so must trust in us. ElseMarie from Sweden contacted me, and wanted to adopt a dog. By that time Gaby was in my home.
I showed the picture of Else to Gaby and asked if she wanted to live with her. Gaby sniffed and her tail wagged again. Gaby's dream was to make people happy. Gaby adopted Else and went to Sweden, and her dream came true. Sheheal hearts wherever she goes.
Else adores her Gaby so much that she wanted to return something to Martina and Pio. A fantastic portrait was being made by the artist Christina Alvner and sent own to them. What a beautiful gesture. One rescue dog is tying so many new hearts together. We humans are the lucky ones Now that's Amore/
