ANGELO SUPER HERO-TROOPER

Angelo was rescued by an American family down in Southern Italy. His front leg was damaged and he couldn't walk on it. Every day he licked and nibbled on it. AWL got a request from the family if we could help with Angelo's surgery?
Dr Damiani and Dr Fransesco made the surgery this week and everything went super. Even after three days is ANgelo up walking and wagging his tail.

We got so much to learn from our four-legged friends.

He is up for adoption to a five star family, but the foster family will have him in their home until we find that family. (Angelo is house broken)

OUR OMBRA AT THE HOSPICE

NOW AND THEN......not even one year of treatments. That's Amore.

ANGELO NEED SURGERY ASAP

This is Angelo, he is +10 years old-- we think. He was rescued by Family Callahan  when they saw he was injured and "hobbling" around on the streets. Dr Damiani explained that Angelo had radial nerve palsy and couldn’t use his leg. We d
ecided to try antibiotics, Vitamin B injections and some physical therapy to see if we could get any function back. So far nothing. It has been agreed that the only solution is amputation.

Tomorrow Angelo will have his leg amputated since he is liking and seems to be very bothered of his "hanging" leg.
AWL would like to sponsor this surgery to give Angelo his quality life back. Family Callahan have promised that he can stay and heal. Angelo is no barker, he is house broken, great with other dogs, cats and small children.

Please make it happen and help us with donations. The surgery will cost around 500-600 euro. Ear mark it "Angelo"

www.animalswithoutlimits.com/donations or leave an envelope at SS vet clinic. Thank you for helping us helping the animals getting a quality life. That's Amore.

THIS IS SALLY IN CAMPANIA ITALY

This is Sally, one year old (10 kg) and spayed yesterday. She was rescued by volunteers; Martina and Pio who spotted her roaming around a lot of cars in heavy traffic. Sally was stressed and in a kind of panic mood. Like she had been dumped and not used to be a street dog.
Sally is staying in Martina and Pio's home resting after being spayed at Dr Damiani clinic.
Sally is great with people and other dogs, a really sweet-heart. Sally would be happy to be a family dog--she got her dog-bag packed and ready to go.

Thank you AWL for sponsoring for the steralization. That's protective Amore!

Now he's still in clinic and he's looking for a home. Please help Willy Wonka ♥

ETTORE FROM BEING LOCKED IN A FARMERS FIELD TO A WARM BED OF HIS OWN IN AHOME

 This is Ettore!

We wrote about him a couple of days ago. A big wonderful goofy loving dog locked in a farmers field together with two other dogs. Martina and Pio asked the farmer if they could try to find him a home. The farmer said yes!
Ettore was escorted to Dr. Damiani and Dr. Fransesco clinic and everyone there loved him. Friendly and curious he made new friends at the clinic.

AWL sponsored with health tests, leichaminiosis and erlichia test and rabies vaccination.

Later on did Martina post Ettore's picture on FB and a family from Northern Italy responded back. They wanted to adopt him!

Pio drove him up last Sunday and the family is madly in love with him, and Ettore....is madly in love with them. That's Amore!

Thank you all our sponsors. Without your help with donations we cannot do our work....YOU ARE OUR HEROS!

GEORGE IS FINALLY AT HIS 5 STAR HOME

What a trip! What a story and what a great family!

As you have seen on earlier postings, the rescue dog George "unlucky with a lot of luck" (?)

He was found nearly starved to death in Southern Italy, with 40-60 ticks all over his body, broken leg and hip. Family Funk brought him in to their warm home and helped him back into life and love. A couple of months later the Family Mattsson-Mercer drove him up from Italy to Germany and noticed later that  he had some other problems. Veterinarian Martina did x ray, and ultrasound. It showed that he had stones in his bladder.
George rested and got medicated at Mattsson-Mercer home for a couple of weeks. Until yesterday (Sunday)
His lovely family, Jacquie and Nato Mike with their love Boxer Bella came down to Stuttgart and picked him up. They are warm and genuine people with their hearts and heads on the right places.
George we are many that will miss you, but we smile when we read your updates from your new five star home in Germany.

That's Amore.
